SELinux is not anti-virus software. It is also not an all-in-one security solution. SELinux is designed to enhance the existing security solutions, and not replace them.

Confirm if SELinux GUI utility is installed:

# rpm -q policycoreutils-gui

Displays the status of SELinux:

# sestatus

Install the graphical tools for managing SELinux:

# yum install setools-console policycoreutils-gui

# yum install setools-gui

# yum install setools-devel

Now you can open and edit from the SELinux GUI management tool.

Open and review each policy rule from the SELinux Policy Analysis tool.

Open and create a new policy for applications, Log in Users, and Root Users with the SELinux Policy Generation Tool.
